So, have you missed me? Well, judging by the number of times someone has asked me “how is the prancing pony coming along?” or “when are you going to finish the model?” you must be sick of waiting to see this. Quite frankly I couldn’t blame you myself, I’d be frustrated too if I was waiting to see the end of the story.

But I’m back, and I’ve brought my tools, so let’s see about putting a roof on this place before winter descends upon Bree.

As part of the celebrations of the first birthday of the Lord of the Rings battle game, Mithaearon is running a month long event here called BREE MONTH, and each day I am going to be building a little bit more of the Prancing Pony before your very eyes. Will I finish it on time? I certainly hope so. What will it look like? No idea. I’m working to my usual plan, which does actually mean that I haven’t got a plan….. But that is half the adventure. You’ll see the mistakes, and the steps taken to rectify them as they happen. You’ll be able to go to the bulletin board and leave suggestions as to how you’d like it to look, and tell me what you think the layout should be. This is the first interactive terrain building project of its type, so be sure to speak your mind.

Yes, heckling is allowed, but no throwing of vegetables, I’ve just had this suit cleaned.

So, you’ve all read part one, let’s take a look at where we left things.

Typical karaoke night in Bree it seems. As you can see, the ground floor was complete; all but a few of the minor details such as painting the lamps by the door and attaching the sign. The sign will actually be the last part of the building, a naming ceremony if you will.

So, we have a ground floor, with a side door, and two staircases leading up to the upper floor, one internal and one external. Hmmmm, looks like I have my work cut out for me. I have 30 days to pull this off. Start the clock……
